ПУТЕШЕСТВИЕ К ЦЕНТРУ ЗЕМЛИ Московский диггер Вадим Михайлов погружается в подземелья города Москвы. Подземный мир - это красота подземных рек, старинных подвалов, но в то же время опасность за каждым поворотом. Нас ждут встречи с необьяснимыми наукой явлениями, подземными жителями. Где реальность, а где иллюзия - непонятно. Fantasies become materialized & exist as a reality. We try to combine modern technologies of computer graphics with documentary cinema. But the audience should not regard the use of graphics as one of the techniques. The computer characters have equal rights with the real characters. We don’t offer a «game» to the audience, we offer a document & the main task is to make it corresponding to the truth of life. Vadim Michaelov is a well-known Moscow digger. He & his team conquer the Underground. They have plans as to organizing tours around the underground & Guarding dangerous places there. He has his own philosophy & young people follow Him. He is a kind of a «Stalker» - on the one hand, he is «weird», a big child, - on the Other hand, he is a leader, a personality, a very interesting man. His mother Waits for him up on the surface & she feels nervous while the guys go to the Underground, which is full of dangers. But it is his world. For the authorities Vadim has become a nuisance, because he openly speaks about the Imminent perils to the megalopolis: pollution of drains, landslides, and unguarded (nobody Knows why) military objects, radioactive trashed. -You make people panic!-the authorities tell Vadim. -But what I am speaking of is a real danger to the millions of people. You are Violating the freedom of speech! -He says, but nobody wants to listen to him. But that is only one aspect of the film, pertaining to human rights, & we will dwell upon it. Besides everyday problems & ecological problems there is a dream, a thirst for Adventure, a fantastic world of the megalopolis’s underground! One can find there not only Metro-1, Metro-2, cables, 12 levels of the underground Moscow, stalactites, stalagmites, seas, rivers & sewerage, but monsters, ghosts, mutants, gnomes as well. They are as real as rats, cockroaches & other «companions» of people in a megalopolis.
